Ferulic acid and associated phenolic linkages are a major part of arabino-xylan which occupies about 35-45% of total dietary fibre.A simple xylanase or arabinase could not able cleave the complex completely and leaves the carbohydrate unutilized. Years of research at Kemin made way for enhanced utilization of arabino-xylans through a group of enzyme activators known as xylanase potentiating factor (XPF). By enhancing the feed carbohydrate utilization Kemzyme® XPF increase a minimum of 100 eggs per tonne of feed or minimum 2.0 gm feed savings over simple carbohydrases
