There was, however, a large number of crow deaths reported near CISF colony in Rourkela.

The government was waiting for laboratory reports for confirmation. We have received death reports from different localities in Rourkela. In Panposh area of Rourkela, some poultry birds were reported to have died. But preliminary examination does not confirm the deaths to be of H5N1.
